Over the Easter weekend I got to meet one of the sweetest families that were all the way from Los Angles California. They were staying at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for a small get away weekend to the mountains. What made their Lake Louise family photography session even more fun was their son Kendrick had never seen snow so this was his very first time getting to play in it. He sure thought it was funny when I would through snow at myself, so I did it multiple time during the session to make him laugh and giggle. Anything for the shot right?!? The day of their session winter… Keep Reading
The Lopuchovsky family traveled all the way from Ohio to Canmore Alberta for a family vacation in the mountains. During their stay here they planned a Barrier Lake family photography session with me! Whoop Whoop! Their only request was they wanted the beautiful teal coloured water lake as there location. There are so many of those to choose from out in the mountains, it was hard to narrow down to the perfect one. Barrier Lake won out and it really ended up being the perfect spot. This family was seriously the best. Every suggestion I had, even climbing to the top of a rocky ridge to get an incredible view of… Keep Reading
Last week I got to meet two of the sweet ladies for a Banff mother & daughter family photography session! Kaitlynn & Sophia are from Saskatchewan and had never been out to Banff before so it was the perfect location for their mom and daughter road trip. I got the pleasure of photographing the two of them out at Lake Minniwanka at the start of their mountain adventure. Sophia had fallen asleep just as they had left Calgary and woke up just before Canmore and couldn’t believe how tall the mountains were Kaitlynn said. I love seeing all the reactions people have to seeing the amazing Rocky Mountains around Banff. They… Keep Reading
The Kin family, was in Canmore for a vacation all the way from Toronto this past weekend. I love when I get photograph clients from all over the world in this beautiful town, but I especially love when its the WHOLE family; aunts, uncles, grandparents, everyone! It is such a special time, and they are all creating memories together that last a lifetime. For their Three Sisters Mountain family photography session we headed to a beautiful open field at the base of the mountain. There is something so majestic about Three Sisters Mountain. We have also had rain for days and days prior to their session, so it was so… Keep Reading
When you meet a couple as kind, sweet, and loving as Mike & Kristen you know you have hit the jackpot with clients. They also have an insanely awesome growing family; an adorable little girl with a huge amazing personality named Zoe. Best of all they are expecting their second baby in December! M & K’s Kananaskis Maternity Session was out Barrier Lake on the weekend and it was so much fun. I seriously can not wait to meet their second little one! Congrats you three, and thank you so much for the great session on Saturday!
Fall is one of my absolutely favourite times of year for photos, and I don’t think I’m alone in this thought! It has to be one of my busiest times of year for family photos. What makes this time of year even better is fall photos in the the beautiful Rocky Mountains! I met this amazing extended family out at Quarry Lake in Canmore Alberta on Saturday morning for their Canmore Extended Family Photography session. They were all such troopers toughing out the showers that happened on an off through their full sessions. There is nothing more important then family and having the opportunity to capture these memories for this… Keep Reading
I got to meet Andrea and her beautiful family out at Chateau Lake Louise over the weekend. The weather wasn’t ideal to say the least but these four were such troopers and braved the downpour with me. Thanks for letting me be part of your summer vacation and to capture some amazing memories for your family! Enjoy the rest of your mountain vacation!
When I was first contacted by Angie, she told me her family was planning a road trip from Manitoba to Banff, Alberta at the beginning of July and wanted to do family photos out here. She also mentioned that their littlest daughter had never seen the Rocky Mountains, so this would be a first for her, as well a trip down memory lane for the rest of them. Chris & Angie got married in Banff back in 2009 so this area holds a big piece of their love story as well as very fond memories. It was an absolute pleasure as a Banff Family Photographer to meet these four and… Keep Reading
