Dean & Kate are one of my amazing 2018 wedding couples and I can not wait for their big day! They both aren’t from Alberta originally, Dean is from New Zealand and Kate is from Tasmania and came to Banff together for a new adventure. We originally planned their Banff Springs Hotel Engagement Session a couple weeks ago but as their day came so did the sideways blowing snow and many many road closures. We postponed their session and I am so glad we did as we rescheduled for one of the most beautiful winter days. Kate works at the Banff Springs hotel so we started their session there, and then… Keep Reading
Carrie had been planning this moment for months. Researching the perfect spot in the mountain to take Christie for dream vacation. You see, Christie had been wanting to explore Banff for years. She had seen photos from friends who had honeymooned up here a couple years ago and since that moment she had become hooked. Carrie knew this, so when the time to propose came, she knew exactly where she wanted to pop the question. Carrie reached out to me for help in the planning as well as to photograph the special moment. I was immediately on board as I have a soft spot for proposal photography as my hubby… Keep Reading
The best part of engagement photos is seeing how couples interact with each other. Watching how they look at each other, laugh with each other and how at easy they are. Time & Serina were so at easy with other. Constantly giggling, laughing squeezing each other but mostly just over being together. They were absolute naturals infant of the camera. Tim & Serina are planning a a beautiful June wedding next year at Reader Rock Garden and I can not wait to be be the one to document it! Congrats you two! It was so fun to finally meet you and spend the afternoon with you at you Lake Minniwanka… Keep Reading
Brandon & Erica are a stunning couple from Ontario, and flew into town to celebrate a friends wedding. When they contacted me they were looking to get engagement photos done in the Rocky Mountains as this isn’t the type of landscape they have back home. I loved this idea so I was absolutely up for a little Banff exploring with them. For their Banff summer engagement photos we met on a beautiful evening just outside of Banff at one of my favourite spots. Erica mentioned to me that she also liked the idea of having old buildings as well as the Rocky Mountains in her photos so Lower Bankhead was the perfect… Keep Reading
On a perfectly sunny Friday afternoon in late July Lealand & Patti planned the most perfect Rimrock Resort Hotel penthouse wedding in Banff Alberta. As each got ready for their wedding in separate rooms in the hotel the excitement built for them to become Mr & Mrs. They had picked Banff for their rocky mountain wedding for its stunning views, and can you blame them?!? From their personal church wedding ceremony at Saint Mary’s Parish to their intimate penthouse patio reception their day was breathtaking. Every moment was so full of love and every person there, all 30 of them, had played such an important role in there lives and… Keep Reading

Cameron & Mallory are one of my 2015 wedding couples and Cameron and my hubby Jay work together so this session was super fun for me! They are getting married downtown this summer so they wanted a different, more nature feel for their engagement session so we headed out to the Kananaksis for their Bragg Creek Engagement Photography session. Bragg Creek is a beautiful little town and they have an amazing provincial park just right outside of the town limits! It was the perfect setting for their session. They also brought their adorable 4 month old pooch Hugo to the session. I mean how cute is he?!? I made sure… Keep Reading
I met Kyle & Janelle about a year ago when I did family photos for them and the rest of Janelle’s immediate family. It was one of the coldest shoots I have ever shot! Thankfully for their engagement session last weekend it was much, much warmer. Like 30 degrees warmer! haha For their e-sesison we headed out to Elbow Falls, just outside of Bragg Creek. Their Elbow Falls Engagement Photos were a serious photographer dream to shoot! It was the perfect spot for the love filled session. Also these two are funny, they had me laughing the whole session! Congrats Kyle & Janelle I am honoured to be the one to… Keep Reading
