The Schneider’s are a family I have known forever. I originally met them when they asked me to capture their engagement session in their home on the day they got possession. Then I was lucky enough to be the one to document their Willow Lane Barn wedding day the following year in 2015. Since then we have stayed in touch and I have captured more sessions through out the years but this time they had a very sweet new addition! Knoxlynn joined their family on April 14th and she is seriously just the cutest. This year for their family session we went out to a friends farm around Millerville. Jessica… Keep Reading
Over the last week everything has started to shift into feel more like fall. The leaves are turing yellow and have started sprinkling the ground. I love the sound of crunching leaves under you feet as you walk during the fall. The nights are getting cooler, and fall family sessions are in full swing! This past weekend I got to meet Rachel & Mike and their adorable twin one year old boys at their Griffith Woods Calgary fall family Session. This session was cute, cute, cute! There was tons of tickle fights, singing, exploring and fun! These boys weren’t 100% sure about the crazy lady with the camera (aka me)… Keep Reading
I might be biased but my brother’s family could be the most adorable family of all time! I just love them! For their family session we headed to Edworhty park and found some great areas that still had some beautiful fall colors! Photographing my nieces & nephews is always an adventure and there never is a dull moment during the session. From falling down hills, to yelling smelly feet at the top of their lungs, they definitely keep me on my toes and laughing the whole time! Thanks for letting me be a part of these memories!
Just about a year ago I got to meet a very sweet week old baby girl at her newborn session. Fast forwards just about a year and that same sweet little girl is now just about 1 year old!! She is walking talking and being just a incredible cutie! I got the pleasure of photographing the Dolan autumn family photography session last week down in Fishcreek Park. It is alway so fun photographing families but it is so much more fun when I get to watch families grow and change. These three are an absolute dream to photograph and made my job so incredibly easy.
Family photos are one of my favourite types of sessions to shoot! Then when clients want to add a family shoot to a first birthday cake smash session my day becomes that much better! I got to meet birthday girl Victoria and her amazing family on Saturday for her Pearce Estate Park Cake Smash! This family was such a dream to work with, and even their adorable pooch Stanley got to be in the photos! Their amazingly talented nanny made the stunning first birthday cake for the shoot. Isn’t it beautiful?!? (and tasty too!) Happy Birthday Victoria!! Victoria’s Cake was absolutely stunning for her cake smash. It was also too pretty to… Keep Reading
When Cheryl contacted me wanting to book family photos I had no idea that this beautiful family had just moved to Calgary and Cheryl is originally from Florida. Just a little bit of a temperature change for them! Im not going to lie this session was a cold one and even still they were so amazing to brave the cold with me! These super cute cuddly family photos was worth the red noses. 😉 Thomas family welcome to Calgary! The winters can be bitter cold but the look of fresh snow on the mountains is is breathtaking and makes it all worth it!
Every year I get clients asking for gift cards around Christmas time and I can’t tell you how much I love this! For me there is nothing better then giving the gift of memories to someone special. Danah did just this… TWICE! Once for her husbands family and once for her own family. The first session we did was out in beautiful Canmore in the summer with her husbands side of the family. The second session was with her side of the family just recently in the fall in Fishcreek Park. Both sessions they picked beautiful warm, sunny days and perfect locations. It was a pleasure to shoot both families… Keep Reading
One thing I love about being a photographer is I get to meet some many new families! But its even more fun when I get to photograph old friends! Brent, Kelly & I all went to high school together and now they are married and have the cutest little girl. Over the Thanksgiving weekend I got to not only photograph them but also Kelly’s parents and brother. How fun! It was the perfect way to end the perfect Thanksgiving weekend! 🙂
