Just before the holidays I got to meet the Swystun family for their Springbank extended family Photography session. This was such a fun session! They wanted to do their session at their home where they had amazing mountain views and they could all snuggle around their backyard fire pit. They were also hoping for a little bit more snow then what we had but with the warmer temperatures that we had all the snow that we had had disappeared by their session. I also loved the golden sunset light that we got during their shoot. Give me a stunning Alberta sunset any day! Thanks for including me in some of… Keep Reading
I know I have said it before, but I seriously LOVE in home sessions! They always include lots of love, lots of laughter, usually some snuggles and always a whole lot of fun! I got to meet the very adorable Fancy Family a couple weeks ago and their Springbank In Home Family session and it was all those things and more! They had just moved into their brand new home so it was the perfect time to start making some new memories but also have a family session done to start filling up their walls with beautiful family photos. Both their kiddos we so stinking cute that it wasn’t hard to capture… Keep Reading
The Andrews Family got up before the sun last Sunday morning for a very beautiful but also slightly chilly sunrise session. Their sunrise Fish Creek Park family session was so much fun. Despite the chilly temperatures we still managed to get a few smiles out their cute son Roscoe too. From exploring the creek, having tickle fights in the forest and lots and lots of family snuggles to stay warm I throughly enjoyed their shoot. Thanks Andrew family for asking my to capture these memories for you!! A Day in The Life of A Wedding Photographer Growing up I never had a real hard set idea of what I wanted to grow up to be. Some kiddos when you ask know they for sure want to be a doctor, a policeman, or a vet, but me I never really knew. I knew I was creative and I loved rearranging the furniture in my room and 100 times a month. I knew spelling was not my strong suit, just ask my mom and best friend who text me on the regular about all the grammar mistakes on my blog. I also knew that I needed a job that… Keep Reading
I got to meet the sweetest family last week at their Calgary summer family photos session. It was such a pleasure to meet the adorable Willmer family and capture these memories out at the Ann and Sandy Cross Conservatory. It was a smoky morning in Calgary but made for some incredible light. I had also been dying to shoot in this new area of the park. I had scouted it a month back and was waiting for the perfect family to take there. This family was definitely was the right pick and it was one of my favorite sessions to date! Thanks Willmer family for asking me to capture these… Keep Reading
I have gotten to know Amanda over the last year as we are both vendors apart of an amazing group of Calgary Wedding Industry people who have joined Event Core YYC. I could go on and on about Event Core but it really is so full of amazingly talented Calgary companies. Amanda owns Glimpz Invitations and you should seriously see her amazing work. It is stunning. Last week I got to photograph her and her adorable families Inglewood Calgary family photography session. They picked the perfect sunny morning and the we got to wander and explore this adorable little neighbourhood of Downtown Calgary. Of course we ended their fun session… Keep Reading
A couple weeks ago I have the privilege of surprising this wonderful family with a gift card for a family session for their little ones first birthday. Adeline’s Grandma had contacted me to purchase a session for them and it was so fun to be able to hand delver it to the family as a surprise. Fast forwards a couple weeks and I got to shoot their family session this past weekend. For their Bragg Creek Family photography session we headed to the snow covered Provincial Park. This was the perfect spot for their session since they wanted lots of snow and more of a wintery feel. I even loved… Keep Reading
I met sweet baby Grayson just before new years for his families Chestermere Family Photography session. Man he was such a cutie pie! He has the fullest head of blonde/red hair, and his adorable relax personality made him such a snuggler! Some of my absolute favourite photos are the in-between moments. The moments that aren’t planned, or posed and thats some of the reasons I love the family portion of the newborn session so much. It’s just a lot of baby cuddles in good light! Congrats you guys Grayson is just the cutest!
