Michelle & I met back when I was still a flight attendant for Westjet so I have had the pleasuring of knowing Michelle for a couple years now! When you are a flight attendant you go to work most days and meet a completely new crew each time so when there was a friendly familiar face like Mimi’s it always made my day brighter! These two are seriously the cutest! Being flight attendants you have a lot of time to chat and hear about others lives, so going into this session I already had heard so much about Jason! It was so great to finally put a face to the name…. Keep Reading
Every year I get clients asking for gift cards around Christmas time and I can’t tell you how much I love this! For me there is nothing better then giving the gift of memories to someone special. Danah did just this… TWICE! Once for her husbands family and once for her own family. The first session we did was out in beautiful Canmore in the summer with her husbands side of the family. The second session was with her side of the family just recently in the fall in Fishcreek Park. Both sessions they picked beautiful warm, sunny days and perfect locations. It was a pleasure to shoot both families… Keep Reading
One thing I love about being a photographer is I get to meet some many new families! But its even more fun when I get to photograph old friends! Brent, Kelly & I all went to high school together and now they are married and have the cutest little girl. Over the Thanksgiving weekend I got to not only photograph them but also Kelly’s parents and brother. How fun! It was the perfect way to end the perfect Thanksgiving weekend! 🙂
I love when clients come back for photo sessions year after year and I get to watch the family grow and change! I met the Labella family last year and had a blast with them, this year was no different! We chased the last little bit of sunlight on Sunday night and it was the perfect way to end a great autumn weekend!
I got the opportunity to meet this wonderfully adorable family at one of my favourite locations just in between Calgary and Cochrane. Big Hills Springs park is such a little gem of a shooting location. One thing I love about growing up in a small town is that everyone is somehow connected. Jolene and her sisters grew in the same town and went to school at the same schools I did as a kid. It is so fun that I now get to photograph them years later when they have their own little families! What an incredible stunning family!
