As I look back over all the shoots I have done over 2014 I can’t help but smile! I smile because I have been a part of so many cherished memories! From shooting a proposal, to capturing so many love filled “I Do’s”, and being honoured to photograph so many cute little newborns I have truly been blessed! I can not thank all my amazing clients enough of letting me be apart of they special moments; its and honour and a privilege! Now here is a look back at 2014!

Over the 51 week weekend my immediate family and I celebrated Christmas! Both myself and my hubby and my brother, sis-in-law and their family are out of town over Christmas day so we decoded to push our Christmas forwards by a couple days. There is seriously nothing better then watching my niece and nephews explore and discover Christmas. Watching the joy in their eyes seeing all the lights and gifts and being all together over this time is truly what makes this time of year so special! Hope your Christmas is overflowing with love, peace and joy! Merry Christmas from my family to yours!!!

This week we were gearing up for Christmas! Since both my hubby and I were going to be out of town for Christmas day this year we are planning to do Christmas with my family the weekend before. That means we had to be ready earlier then usual. I also received an amazing gift in the mail from my 2014 Santographer. If you are a photographer and aren’t a part of this amazing group of photographers you are missing out! It’s such a fun way to network and also send something special to a fellow photographer during the Christmas season. Huge shout out to Laura Winslow for running this group… Keep Reading

I don’t know if I can say enough good things about this family! Over the last couple years I have had the pleasure of getting to know these three and have had many nights laughing till my abs hurt with them! This past weekend I got the opportunity to photograph them again, this time was so fun exploring fish creek park and hunting for trolls under bridges and eating “strawberry” flavoured snow 😉 I absolutely adore this growing family and can not wait to photograph them time and time again!
Baby Boy Dominic ~ Calgary Newborn Photographer
I got the absolute pleasure of meeting sweet baby boy Dominic this week! He was such a little cutie patootie and slept like an angel the whole time! His big sister was so loving towards him and loved just being by his side. Dominic was the cutest little model and such an adorable addition to their already very cute family! Congrats you guys he is perfect!

This week has been crazy! I have been planning a styled shoot/workshop over the last little bit and this Sunday was finally the day! Of course it also had to be the coldest day Calgary had experienced this winter. Brrr. There is nothing quite like being outside shooting in -17 degrees for 4 hours. Seriously it was not for the faint of heart. The other amazing ladies that attend my very first workshop were so brave to be out there with me. Did I mention we had models just in a wedding dress and suit?!? Yup they were troopers and so amazing for posing for us. I wish I could… Keep Reading

Week 47 of 52 has come and gone! This week I started and finished yup FINISHED my Christmas shopping. I am usually the one that was there still shopping with all the men just days before Christmas Day. Then Im always rushing to Fedex gifts all over the place and paying an arm and a leg to get them there. This year gifts are bought, wrapped, and already off the our loved ones! I know I have even surprised myself on how efficient I have been the is… Keep Reading

We now spend more time then we ever have in our new space beautiful it is just so warm and inviting! My beautiful niece also got dedicated this past weekend so we got to spend some amazing family time playing and laughing with some of my favourite littles. 🙂 It was such a great week filled with warm drinks, warm hugs, and warm memories!
