The Young family is a cool family! From their rocking outfits to their amazing choice in location everything about this Calgary East Village family photography session was awesome. I met this adorable family of three at the Simmons Building. This building is amazing. The super rustic brick and old paint advertising everything about it is perfect for photos. From there we explored all the fun urban areas around. Eli was all over exploring, especially if it involves stairs. Seriously that kid is a stair master! These guys were also troopers. The weather was anything but a beautiful August morning. The wind, coolness and grey skies didn’t stop them from having… Keep Reading
When clients work at super cool places and then want to have their family session at that same cool place I always say “Heck YES!!”. Devin works for the Canadian Pacific Railroad at the head office so he is always surrounded by trains. With the weather not looking super dry for their session they thought this would be the perfect backup plan, and it was! It was so fun to be able to shoot around all the amazing trains cars for their Calgary train yard family photography session. We were able to sneak outside for part of the session and found some of the most amazing old vintage windows on… Keep Reading
How do I even start to recap 2015?!? It was such an incredible year and my absolute busiest to date and I have all of you to thank for it! 2015 was also the year I made the big leap and quit my “day job” and went full time as a Calgary photographer. I could not be happier that I made this decision and am so proud to own and have built my company to the place it is!! In 2015 I have shot 141 sessions & 15 weddings, and captured a million amazing memories. I have also made and continued to grow relationships with so many wedding industry friends and… Keep Reading
On a cold fall October morning I met the adorable “K” family out at the Anne & Sandy Cross Conservatory for their Calgary family photography session. These guys were such troopers as the wind blew all four of them braved the temperature and made the best of a cold session! The Anne & Sandy Cross Conservatory is such an incredible area for a session. With the rolling hills and views East all the way to Calgary, and to the West you can see the Rocky Mountains. This session was also super fun because their littlest daughter had just turned one the day before! Thank you for the amazing session and… Keep Reading
On a foggy Saturday morning I met the O family for their Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park family photography session. This park is unreal and just in between Calgary and Cochrane. At first I was a little sad that the incredible views of the valley would be hidden but the morning fog but as the sun warmed the grassy hills the fog started to lift an show off the stunning river valley. This family was so fun to photograph! Between all the dinosour roaring, running through the fields and all the silly laughs this family was crazy awesome!! Thanks for the amazing morning you guys were such troopers braving the chilly… Keep Reading
I love exploring new parks and places to shoot, and on the weekend I got to experience Sandy Beach in Calgary. This place is such a hidden little gem (or at least hidden from me 🙂 ). For the Giborski’s Calgary Sandy Beach Family photography session they had the perfect fall day! During the session we also got to celebrate Miss. Adele’s first birthday by having a small tea party right there in the park! I also got the pleasure of photographing Adele’s newborn session almost a year ago, so I loved being apart of this new stage in her but also her families life! Nicole had this amazing idea to… Keep Reading
I love this little family and I love even more that they live 3 hours away, and always make time to swing through town for a photo shoot every now and then! I seriously have the BEST clients! I met Jarred & Trish at their engagement session, then got the oppratunity to photograph them again at their wedding day, and once more at their maternity! I love when I get to watch my clients grow and change but also be a part of all those amazing memories. This past weekend they were passing thru town from a family vacation and we snuck in a Confederation Park family Photography session at in… Keep Reading
I love watching friends of mine, their families grow and change, however what I love even more is being able to photograph them year after year. This year was special for this gorgeous family. This year I got to photograph not just their immediate family but their entire extended family, including M’s parents and all her siblings and spouses. How fun is that!?! I am pretty sure I have the best job in the world. Thanks again for all the laughs and great time R & M. Your family is always amazing to photograph!
