Cameron & Mallory are one of my 2015 wedding couples and Cameron and my hubby Jay work together so this session was super fun for me! They are getting married downtown this summer so they wanted a different, more nature feel for their engagement session so we headed out to the Kananaksis for their Bragg Creek Engagement Photography session. Bragg Creek is a beautiful little town and they have an amazing provincial park just right outside of the town limits! It was the perfect setting for their session. They also brought their adorable 4 month old pooch Hugo to the session. I mean how cute is he?!? I made sure… Keep Reading
I am so excited to share this session! I don’t think we could have picked a more perfect day or more of a dream location! Quarry lake is a stunning lake nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Canmore, Alberta. I met the Dey family there for their extended family session and had such a blast with them! They were up for anything including exploring the forest looking for fun sticks to play with! SO FUN!
Mark & Rosalind’s Gasoline Alley wedding in Heritage Park was truly magical! She looked incredible in her ruffle halter top wedding gown. What made this dress even better, she had pockets! AMAZING! The ceremony was held at First Alliance Church and her mom could not have been more proud walking her daughter down the aisle. Their mint & red wedding colours were so unique and they incorporated the perfect amount of the pops of colours! The boys had red ties and Mark stood out from them with his mint tie which matched Rosalind’s mint Converse sneakers! Everything about their wedding was perfect! Congrats you two! We could not be any… Keep Reading
Being a Town of Banff wedding photographer I was honoured to be asked to photograph Jess & Michelle’sWedding day. They got married on the most beautiful sunny June day with the Rocky Mountains as the backdrop. This amazing little city is nestle at the base of the Rocky Mountains, and is simply breathtaking. The perfect spot for these two to tie the knot! Surrounded by their loved ones they became husband and wife! Michelle was absolutely stunning, and her wedding dress was to die for with its cathedral length train. We headed out to Lake Minnewanka for their photos and even had a curious squirrel try to steal Michelle’s Wedding bouquet…. Keep Reading
Week 25 was such a fun one! I shot my second wedding of the season out in the beautiful town of Banff. Its hard to believe that this big beautiful Rocky Mountains are right in our backyard. We are so blessed living in Calgary, I think most of us take it for granted. The other highlight of the week was meeting my brand new baby niece, Julie Rose and shooting her newborn session! I seriously have the cutest and most adorable nieces & nephews! Summer is also in full swing and we get such a short summer I am trying to take full advantage of every second of the warm… Keep Reading
This is week 24 of my A Click a Day Photography project! This week it was such a fun week because I got to celebrate my husbands 34th Birthday! SOOO fun! If there is one thing I love it’s birthdays, but I especially love celebrating my husbands! Its hard to believe that almost 5 years ago we got married. Some of you might know that my husband and I met and 7 months later were engaged and a year after that we were married! He always had this idea that he wanted to get married before he was 30, and he squeaked in just a year under his goal! Well… Keep Reading
This week I have been crazy, crazy busy as I am gearing up for wedding season. I have done back to back to back engagement sessions, we are building a shed in our back yard, it was my best friends 28th birthday and I am excited to announce I have a brand new little Niece, Julie Rose! So needless to say stopping to notice the beauty in the details hasn’t been my first priority. Even though it is the start of my busy season I can not wait to be a part of all my amazing clients big days! Enjoy this weeks photos!
This week was a fun week for me! I have been wanting to take the photo of me holding the picture in front of our house for awhile now. I didn’t want to take it during the winter because i didn’t think the snow would do it justice. If you have never heard of a “Dear, Photograph” type of photo definitely look into it! It is such a fun idea. The premise of them is you have a photograph from a time past and you take a picture of you holding the picture in the exact same spot years later. When my husband and I first moved into our house… Keep Reading
