Week 21 was an interesting one! My hubby and I have been on the look out for a new travel trailer for this summer’s holidays. We ended up finding one at an auction site, the only kicker was that it wasn’t in our town, it was in a completely different province and 10 driving time away. Well, we placed a bid and won it! We are now the proud owners of a Mallard travel trailer! Then the plan to go and pick it up began. We packed out bags for the 10hr trip to Vancouver and the 10hr drive back home and the plan was to do the whole trip… Keep Reading
Week 19… that means we are on dates 127-133. Hard to believe that #1. I am still shooting everyday and #2. that we are over 1/3 of the way done! By documenting every single day I feel as if time has almost sped up if thats possible. I remember as a kid thinking that it took forever for the school year to finish, and now I feel like I blink and months pass. Its also hard to believe that this weekend is my 10 year high school reunion! 10 years! I don’t know about you guys but where I am in my life is by no means where I thought… Keep Reading
We started week 18 still being in the great city of San Francisco! We made sure we stopped in at Alcatraz and soak up all the history we could. We also got to meet the last surviving Alcatraz inmate. He has written a book and was there promoting it as well as signing copies! Such a unique experience. After soaking in as much sun and new experiences as we could in San Fran we headed home to SNOW!!! Ugh… I’m so over snow haha. I have also been in talks with the very talented Sugar Shimmer Cookies to create a wonderful Thank You gift for all my 2014 wedding clients…. Keep Reading

For my 2014 wedding season I am SO happy to announce I will be partnering up with Sugar Shimmer Cookies to bring these amazing sweet treats to my beautiful wedding couples as a small thank you for trusting me & letting… Keep Reading
This weeks photos are a little more spring like (Thank Goodness!!) We have finally had a stretch of warm weather were we haven’t had to bundle up to step foot outside. This week we had gotten tickets to see Florida Georgia Line in concert, as well as hang out down on 4th Ave at one of our favourite restaurants “The Garlic Clove” with some great friends from high school. Some times hanging out with the people that know you best is just what the body needs for a good recharge! 🙂
I am absolutely over the moon excited about Matt & Keara’s Engagement session being featured in WedLoft by Wedding Wire blog. It was such a fun, and inquire session and totally fit the personality of this amazing couple! Be sure to check out their full engagement session here and their full feature on WedLoft here! Congrats Matt & Keara!
Little Miss Brooklyn Makena is one of most adorable little ones I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. When I first got to Damian & Lindsey’s home she was sleeping like an angel! I always love asking how new parents decide on what to name their new additions. Brooklyn Makena was named after some of their favourite places and trips. Brooklyn for their trip to New York, and Makena after the beach in Hawaii they were married on in 2009! Congrats D&L on your beautiful baby girl!
This week I decided to stop again at a spot in my home town that I drive by just about every day. I was playing tourist in my own town again and once again I am so glad I did. I found a beautiful trail that actually winds its way around Canada Olympic Park here in Calgary, AB. Its full of trees and hills and feel like you not even in Calgary anymore! I also tried to take a new perspective on the everyday. I am a flight attendant part time in addition to being a full time photographer, part of my everyday is being in an aircraft at 35 thousand feet,… Keep Reading
