I have been looking forwards to Theron & Rachelle’s Okotoks Foothills Centennial Centre wedding since the day I got the chance to meet them both. They planned their perfect Autumn wedding day for October 3rd, 2016. Surrounded by their loved ones, wedding party and friends Theron & Rachelle got to say “I do” to their best friend in the cutest church in Okotoks Alberta. It was the most amazing wedding ceremony and were even gift to unique but beautiful tea cups from the officiant. What I loved even more was the meaning behind the cups. Whenever one of the people in the relationship needs to talk they can pull out… Keep Reading
I got a call from Sheena on Monday of last week wondering if I was available Friday for a small intimate wedding in their home for her & Chad. There is just something about small weddings that makes my heart smile. They usually consist of only the people that truly matter in your life, and there is just so much raw emotion at them. This wedding was no different! I met Sheena at Identity Hair in Okotoks in the morning, then it was back to their home to get ready for the wedding! Her daughter was the cutest maid of honour and even got to pick out her very pretty… Keep Reading

I am pretty sure I have the best job ever! What other job do you get to meet amazing couples in love, photograph these beautiful couples in stunning locations and laugh so hard with these couples that at the end of the shoot your cheeks hurt?!? I had SOOOO much fun with Nevin & Jamie! For their Okotoks engagement photography session they decided since they both enjoy golfing so we headed to D’arcy Ranch Golf Course in Okotoks. Since it was the end of the golfing season we got the whole course to ourselves. So we hopped in a couple golf carts and boogied all over the course fully exploring… Keep Reading
Mark & Rosalind’s Gasoline Alley wedding in Heritage Park was truly magical! She looked incredible in her ruffle halter top wedding gown. What made this dress even better, she had pockets! AMAZING! The ceremony was held at First Alliance Church and her mom could not have been more proud walking her daughter down the aisle. Their mint & red wedding colours were so unique and they incorporated the perfect amount of the pops of colours! The boys had red ties and Mark stood out from them with his mint tie which matched Rosalind’s mint Converse sneakers! Everything about their wedding was perfect! Congrats you two! We could not be any… Keep Reading
Week 25 was such a fun one! I shot my second wedding of the season out in the beautiful town of Banff. Its hard to believe that this big beautiful Rocky Mountains are right in our backyard. We are so blessed living in Calgary, I think most of us take it for granted. The other highlight of the week was meeting my brand new baby niece, Julie Rose and shooting her newborn session! I seriously have the cutest and most adorable nieces & nephews! Summer is also in full swing and we get such a short summer I am trying to take full advantage of every second of the warm… Keep Reading
This week I have been crazy, crazy busy as I am gearing up for wedding season. I have done back to back to back engagement sessions, we are building a shed in our back yard, it was my best friends 28th birthday and I am excited to announce I have a brand new little Niece, Julie Rose! So needless to say stopping to notice the beauty in the details hasn’t been my first priority. Even though it is the start of my busy season I can not wait to be a part of all my amazing clients big days! Enjoy this weeks photos!
This week was a fun week for me! I have been wanting to take the photo of me holding the picture in front of our house for awhile now. I didn’t want to take it during the winter because i didn’t think the snow would do it justice. If you have never heard of a “Dear, Photograph” type of photo definitely look into it! It is such a fun idea. The premise of them is you have a photograph from a time past and you take a picture of you holding the picture in the exact same spot years later. When my husband and I first moved into our house… Keep Reading
