When Heather contacted me about getting family photos done with her entire family I could hear the excitement in her voice! She told me it has been a very long time since the whole family got together for photos. Her family has since grown and changed and she was wanting to update her beautiful photo wall him her house. They picked this beautiful location where you could see all the way to the mountains as well as it over looked the bow river. It was stunning! I loved how these turned out and I was happy to be able to give these memories to this amazing family! 🙂
Every year I get clients asking for gift cards around Christmas time and I can’t tell you how much I love this! For me there is nothing better then giving the gift of memories to someone special. Danah did just this… TWICE! Once for her husbands family and once for her own family. The first session we did was out in beautiful Canmore in the summer with her husbands side of the family. The second session was with her side of the family just recently in the fall in Fishcreek Park. Both sessions they picked beautiful warm, sunny days and perfect locations. It was a pleasure to shoot both families… Keep Reading
Ryan & Elisa are some of my favourite people, and they have two of the cutest little boys! I am lucky to call these four friends and every luckier to be able to photograph their growing family! For their family session we headed out to Lake Chaparral, and this time of year it is just the perfect place for fall photos. Congrats Ryan, Elisa & Bryce on the very cute new little man in your family!
One thing I love about being a photographer is I get to meet some many new families! But its even more fun when I get to photograph old friends! Brent, Kelly & I all went to high school together and now they are married and have the cutest little girl. Over the Thanksgiving weekend I got to not only photograph them but also Kelly’s parents and brother. How fun! It was the perfect way to end the perfect Thanksgiving weekend! 🙂
Thanksgiving was last weekend which means that I was busy, busy, busy for family photos! I loved that I got the opportunity to meet and photograph this large extended family. Caroline called me and had a wanted to have photos while everyone was in town over the long weekend. This entire family was stunning! It was like they stepped off the pages of a magazine. It was the perfect session for the Thanksgiving long weekend!
I met Justin, Katrina and their beautiful rescued pooch Nala on a amazing fall evening in Fishcreek Park. It was such a perfect session. I am such an animal lover so I love it when clients incorporate their animals into their session. Mostly because if I wasn’t a photographer I would want to be a puppy cuddler! (that’s totally a job right?!?) Thanks guys for a great session, all the laughs and for letting me play with your very cute pooch!
This week I am trying to enjoy every last moment of summer! Soon kids will be going back to school and life will go back to the way it is over the winter. We will soon start pulling out our warmer clothes, huddling by wood fires and spending more and more time indoors as the days get shorter. So until that happens I am trying to pack as many sun filled beach days in, as many cruiser bike picnics as I can, as many drives down back roads to capture sun kissed wheat fields as I can, and make as many memories as I can this summer. Im my neck of… Keep Reading
