Calgary branding photographer
It’s simple: you have a brilliant brand,
and you really freakin’ deserve
to bring it
to life in a beautiful, confident way.
I’m here to help you do it.
branding photography for creative entrepreneurs
You’ve spent your life building a brand that’s uniquely you, and you deserve to define it with excellence.
You manage a personal brand by putting it out into the world what you wish to be known for. Fact: You are what you do. Create a brand worth talking about with photos that show what it feels like to work with you. By including imagery like this on your website, in your social media, and in your blogging, let’s your viewers get to know you. You’ve figured out your niche, so these images will help potential clients get to know who you are and begin to build that trust. Show, don’t tell. It will attract the perfect tribe to you.
I get it — personal branding photography *sounds* kind of scary. But, I can promise you (and then some) that it’s not. Not even close!
Instead, I can assure you that our personal branding photography journey will make you feel seen and heard, so that you can get on inspiring people like you deserve to.
Here’s the thing: personal branding photography might just wildly transform your life.

"chantal did an amazing job with my branding shoot, we had tons of laughs, and she made me feel super confident in front of the camera. Her creativity helped capture exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't have asked for somebody better and am thrilled with the final product."

Frequently asked questions
1. How Far in Advance are you booking?
This really depends on when you're looking. Typically I am booking a couple months out for weekday session, however my weekends do fill up first and faster. If you need a weekend date make sure you reach out ASAP as those sessions are limited.
2. How long does it take to get the photos back?
Typically it takes about two weeks to have the photos edited and back to you. You will receive an online gallery with both the high resolution and the web resolution images in it. This way you have the opportunity to use them in print form as well as on your socials, website, or blog.
3. What locations should we use?
I always love this questions because it is different for every single business. I want to make sure we pick a location that best fits your brand. If you're an interior designer then your last project might be best. If you're a personal chief then a bright well designed kitchen is ideal. If you have an awesome product and need product photos then something that represent your brand color or texture would speak to the photos. These are all things we talk about prior to your session to make sure we pick the perfect location for your shoot.
4. DO i need to bring anything?
Props are always a good idea, but not just anything will work either. Pick things that speak to your brand. This could be anything from business cards to your favourite morning drink. Having these items will show off your personality and help give a wide variety of images for your session.
5. Can I bring more then one outfit?
Yes! I actually encourage it! By brining a couple outfits it can help change the feel from a more formal business look of the session to a more casual. This way you get double the usage for the photos. It also helps to add interest to your feed. If you only had one outfit all your images would look the same. By brining multiples it can make it feel like the photos weren't all taken on the same day and add diversity to your feed.
6. What usage rights come with my session?
All personal branding photography should be treated like commercial photography and come with usage rights and licenses. This way you can use the photos however you would like. Want to put them on your website? Go for it! Want to use them in print form? Absolutely! These photos are yours to use how you want. However because I love all my clients so much, you may see your photos also end up on my blog, website or socials as well.
7. When should I invest in branding photos for my business?
As soon as possible! I’ve had clients work with me before even launching their sites, so that all of their content is on-brand from day 1. This is a great and exciting time to invest in developing your brand image.
8. Can I include my staff?
Absolutely! They are part of your story. Including more people offers an opportunity to create even more engaging photos. Including staff members will allow more behind the scenes content to show your audience how your brand operates and stands out from other businesses.
9. What if I don’t know how to describe my personal brand?
Don’t worry. It sounds more complex than it really is. You probably have an ideal customer in mind. You probably know what you want to communicate to that ideal customer. We’ll start there and build on that to identify how to capture your personal brand in photos.
10. I'm nervous in front of a camera. Help!
After photographing people for over a decade, I hear this nearly every time I pull out my camera. People often don’t like the way they look in pictures, but they are usually not working with a professional either. We will get to know each other and you will start to relax and feel comfortable with me and my camera. Plus I am kind of a goof so I will be cracking jokes and being silly the whole time. You will be a star, so don’t worry too much about this. Trust the process.
