When I first started my business back in 2009 there were so many Calgary wedding photographers I looked up to and admired. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that one day some photographers just starting out in the market may be looking up to me. Back in November I hosted my very first workshop! It has been something that I never thought I would do, but am so glad I did. I had also been wanting to collaborate with some of they many amazing Calgary vendors in a creative project and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to mix the two together. I am beyond words… Keep Reading
Ryan and Lauren have such a cute love story! They got engaged at the Calgary International airport after Lauren returned home from a trip overseas. Swoon! He completely surprised her! Don’t you just love stories like this! Lauren’s family has also been been in the airline industry for years so it was only natural that they wanted to incorporate airplanes into their e-sesion! For their Calgary Aero Space Museum Engagement Photography session we headed to a small aviation museum near the airport. If you have never been to the Calgary Aero Space Museum, GO! It is such an interesting place and the amazing people that work there are so accommodating and… Keep Reading
I was so excited foe Jesse & Sara-Jane’s wedding! They were my last wedding of my summer season and it was held at one of the most beautiful restaurants in Calgary’s, Bonterra Trattoria Wedding venue. The food was also to die for! Yum! They have this stunning outdoor patio that feels like you have taken a step into Tuscany. They also picked the most amazing September day, considering we had snow the weekend before! They started with a “first look” which is one of my favourite parts of a non traditional wedding to shoot! I love capturing the raw emotion the couple has for each when they see each other for… Keep Reading

They got married at the beautiful Glen Eagles Golf Course in Cochrane Alberta. It was such a beautiful day and we were honoured to share in their BIG day! Congrats Brett & Natasha! We wish all the love and happiness in the world as you enter into you new marriage! I love LOVE! But I love love even more when I get to capture love between two of my friends! Steffen & Kathleen Calgary Canoe Club Wedding happened Saturday June 14, 2014. It truly was a magical day! They were forecasting rain and wet weather all week but thankfully the skies were blue and the sun was sunning all day for them! Kathleen was such a gorgeous bride and was so excited to marry the man of her dreams. Steffen was such a handsome groom and was so loving and tender towards Kathleen. I love watching the interaction between couples, and these two were always touching and being so loving… Keep Reading
This week I have been crazy, crazy busy as I am gearing up for wedding season. I have done back to back to back engagement sessions, we are building a shed in our back yard, it was my best friends 28th birthday and I am excited to announce I have a brand new little Niece, Julie Rose! So needless to say stopping to notice the beauty in the details hasn’t been my first priority. Even though it is the start of my busy season I can not wait to be a part of all my amazing clients big days! Enjoy this weeks photos!
This week was a fun week for me! I have been wanting to take the photo of me holding the picture in front of our house for awhile now. I didn’t want to take it during the winter because i didn’t think the snow would do it justice. If you have never heard of a “Dear, Photograph” type of photo definitely look into it! It is such a fun idea. The premise of them is you have a photograph from a time past and you take a picture of you holding the picture in the exact same spot years later. When my husband and I first moved into our house… Keep Reading
Week 21 was an interesting one! My hubby and I have been on the look out for a new travel trailer for this summer’s holidays. We ended up finding one at an auction site, the only kicker was that it wasn’t in our town, it was in a completely different province and 10 driving time away. Well, we placed a bid and won it! We are now the proud owners of a Mallard travel trailer! Then the plan to go and pick it up began. We packed out bags for the 10hr trip to Vancouver and the 10hr drive back home and the plan was to do the whole trip… Keep Reading
