Week 45/52 I am finally starting to slow down and have a little more ME time, had more time to blog and catch up on my to do list. Also had more time to try some different photography techniques that I have been wanting to try out and learn. This week I have also decided to run my every first ever photography workshop. Eeeek! I am so crazy excited about stepping out of my comfort zone and teaching some amazing ladies. For the workshop I am also putting together a styled winter woodland shoot with some crazy talented Calgary vendors. I can’t wait to share more about this upcoming session but… Keep Reading
Week 36 of my a click a day photography series is the first week of september. Batter late then never right!?! We spent the week lounging on the beaches of Costa Rica and soaking in all the warmth we could. We found out when we were there that it was snowing like crazy back in Calgary! YUCK! We had such an incredible time surfing, eating local food, and visiting/supporting the local animal rescue shelters! I even got to hold a baby howler monkey! I was in my heaven! Holiday Bliss!
My husband and I were still on our 2 week camping adventure and it has been absolutely amazing up to this point! One of my favourite moments of the week was going to a drive in movie! As a kid I remember going to a drive in theatre and loving it! The small town of Enderby, BC has a drive in theatre and I remember driving past it growing up and always wanting to stop so this time we actually did! It was the perfect summers evening! If you ever get a chance to explore the Okanagan in BC it is truly breath taking with its warm mountain lakes, sprawling… Keep Reading
Week 29 was full of sun, sand, weddings, and the start of a 2 week much needed vacation! Both my hubby and myself worked long hours leading up to the start of our BC vacation so we could just relax when we were gone. Between my man finishing a contract to build 4 sets of stairs and myself shooting a weddings, cake smashes, maternity sessions, engagement sessions and newborn sessions we haven’t had a lot of down time. We could not have been happier to turn off our cell phones for the first couple days and disappear into lake country with friends! 🙂 It is so nice to just unplug!… Keep Reading
For the last couple years I have had the desire to go explore San Francisco. This year I told my husband that all I wanted for my birthday was a trip to San Fran. So thats exactly what we did! We spent 5 amazing days in this beautiful bay city. The weather was amazingly hot, and apparently quite out of the ordinary. We stayed at the boutique Herbert Hotel right down in Union Square. Signed up for a fantastic wine tour thru the Napa Valley, visited Alcatraz and met the last surviving inmate from the prison. We visited the seals down in fisherman’s warf, and walked from one side of… Keep Reading
