Last week I had the pleasure of photographing some of my amazing friends and their brand new baby girl. I absolutely LOVE when I get the opportunity to capture these exciting times for friends and family but for Mike & Bonnie this was even more exciting. After years of trying to conceive and not having any luck, they decided to both go get tested. They found out that due to Mike’s cancer battle a few years back that his swimmers was likely the culprit. They were given a 0% chance by the doctors to conceive naturally, this definitely weighed heavy on them and their dreams to start a family. Fast forwards a fews months and these two were VERY surprised to find out that the 0% chance they were give by the doctors was was shattered as they were expecting their very own miracle baby. Mike refused to believe it at first and it was until the doctors told them that they were indeed expecting their first kiddo that Mike would actually believe this was happening. Can you blame him though, after being given zero hope or likely hood that this was something they would ever get to experience?

On October 21st, 2017 Abigail Nahanni Lang was born! Yay!!! Also don’t you just love her sweet name. They decided to have her middle name Nahanni after the river they planned to kayak down this past summer before the news of baby arrived. She is absolutely perfect with some of the best features of both Mike and Bonnie combined. Including her toes which she absolutely get 100% from Bonnie 😉

Congrats you two she is insanely cute and it was such an honour to capture these first few moments of you guys and your sweet miracle Abby!

It was so fun capturing their lifestyle newborn session their home, as they also just recent purchased their very first home together! So fun to make all these new memories in it.She was such a little doll and the perfect little model.You could just feel the joy and love throughout their full session.A mommas love.
These two could just sit and stare at her all day and never get tired.Congrats you two, she is perfect!
