This Glenbow Ranch Autumn Family Photography session at Glenbow Ranch was one of those fall evenings that just fills your heart up. It had been a couple of years since I last saw this amazing family of five, and seeing how much the kids had grown made it even more special. They showed up with the best energy, ready to explore and have fun, which always makes my job so easy and so much fun.
If you have ever been to Glenbow Ranch, you know how breathtaking it is, especially in autumn. The golden grasses, the pops of red and orange leaves, and the rolling hills that stretch for miles make it one of my absolute favorite places to shoot family photos in Cochrane. The light that night was perfect, soft and warm, wrapping everything in that dreamy fall glow.
This family was up for absolutely anything. We wandered down trails, climbed little hills, and stopped anywhere I saw beautiful light. They trusted me completely and went along with every idea, no matter how adventurous it sounded. The laughter, the playful moments, and those sweet in-between hugs are what make family sessions like this so meaningful.
I am honestly obsessed with how these photos turned out. Every image feels full of love, connection, and that unmistakable fall magic that Cochrane gives us every year. These are the kinds of sessions that remind me why I love what I do — capturing families as they are, in beautiful places, making memories together.
