Canada Day is one of my all time favourite days!!! One, because I love the country we live in, and two, because it is the official start of summer! July 1st means the start of long summer evenings, camping season, spontaneous adventures, summer fruit, lake days, Calgary Stamped, falling asleep to the sound of rain outside, the smell of sunscreen, photographing wedding season, sidewalk chalk, BBQs, and of course warm weather! This summer seemed so far away when we were in the midst of winter and today is day 1! I know our summer is also pack to the brim and almost exploding with vacations, events and sessions and I could not be more excited about it! Today is day one, so make the most of it!
