Winter weddings have always been some of my favorites (if you can handle the cold), so when some of my ALL time favorite YYC wedding vendors decided to put on a A Nordic Inspired Intimate Winter Wedding Day styled shoot just in time for Christmas I was all in! This shoot had all the cozy winter vibes, and still had so much classic elegance. With a space dripping in greenery, pine cones, and furs add a nice bit of texture throughout the design, but our favorite part is definitely the dessert table with the ginger bread “cake” and cookies. Can you even believe that gingerbread castle cake? YUM!

The shoot was hosted by a Finish born Calgary interior designer. Her house with the modern lines and drench in natural light was the perfect location for the session. Andrew from The Wandering Long Table absolutely knocked it out of the park on this one! Everything was perfect from the hanging greenery in the fireplace room right down to the small details of the white chipmunks holding walnuts on the table and bar. No part of the space was designed or perfectly thought out!
