Over the weekend I got to meet sweet Maddox. I could not get enough of this sweet one year old. His parents wanted to start his first birthday session with a Christmas theme. From his Rudolf sweater to his adorable grim he was just too stinking cute for words. Then for his actual cake smash his mom wanted A Very Hungry Caterpillar Cake Smash session. I use to love this book as a kiddo so I was so excited about pulling this theme together. Maddox’s mom made the most adorable naked cake topped with the perfect replica of the caterpillar from the book out of fondant! She is so talented. Maddox also LOVED the cake. From pulling the antennas off the topper to shovelling as much icing and cake as he could get in his mouth, he was in one year old heaven! Happy Birthday Maddox, and thanks for celebrating a small part of your first birthday with me!

I mean it really doesn’t get any cuter then this little guy.
