Eric contracted me as he and his girl friend were planning a trip to Banff for a vacation. Katie has always wanted to come to Banff and see the Rocky Mountains so it was the perfect winter getaway location for the two of them. What Katie didn’t realize is that her bucket list vacation spot was also the spot she would say yes to the man of her dreams. Eric planned the perfect Banff proposal. At the top of a mountain, overlooking the town of Banff below, Eric got down on one knee and asked Katie to be his forever. I had the absolutely honor of witnessing the whole moment and capturing all of their Banff proposal photography. Proposals have to be one of my all time favorite things to document! After all the excitement, happy tears, and sheer joy we also snuck in a bit of an engagement session down on the frozen Vermillion lakes.
