When Spencer first reached out to me asking me to document his proposal to longtime girlfriend Nancy I was so excited. I absolutely LOVE shooting wedding proposals as my hubby planned a similar thing when he proposed to me 10 years ago. But also because I was honoured to be a part of their friends proposal back in the winter as well! It was so fun to sneak around and play tourist as Nancy & Spencer took in the views just before their Banff Surprise Corner Wedding Proposal happened. Nancy had no idea that Spencer had anything planned so as he got down on one knee you could see the excitement, sheer joy and love she had for him! You could also hear all the people below them on the road cheering and screaming for them as she said YES!

Then I got to sneak them away and capture some of their very first images now that they were officially engaged! These two were an absolute dream to photograph! Spencer thank you for asking me to be a small part of your surprise. It was such a great way to celebrate Canada day!
