There is something extra special about welcoming a newborn during the Christmas season, and baby Daniel’s Calgary Christmas newborn session was the perfect example of that magic.

I captured this in-home newborn session on Christmas Eve, and it truly felt like the sweetest way to slow down during an otherwise busy season. Their Calgary home was filled with warmth, soft light, and the kind of calm that only comes when a brand new baby has arrived. One of the most beautiful parts of this session was watching Sloan step into her role as big sister. She was gentle, proud, and so full of love for Daniel. These sibling moments are always some of my favorite parts of a Calgary in-home newborn session because they tell such an important part of the story.

Daniel slept peacefully through much of the session, wrapped up and cozy, completely content in his new world.
