Calgary Wedding Party Photos
Back in April I was apart of the most stunning styled shoot. It was put together by some of the most amazingly talented Calgary wedding vendors all a part of Event Core YYC. Event Core is a group of wedding professionals that all are striving to be the best in the business but also support each other as a community. I was honoured to be asked to be apart of this shoot and I am kinda in love with how it turned out. I have also been dying to show off these photos from the shoot but we had to keep them a secret as the shoot was published by Calgary Bride a month back. You can see the full feature here. I hope you love the shoot as much as we all loved being a part of it. Now here is a quick write up about the shoot and all the members that were a part of it:
“This shoot was inspired by the natural woodland colors and textures. With palettes of blush, burgundy, greenery, passionate pops of pinks and corals, we couldn’t help but fall in love with the elegance of this theme. Conceptualized by Rhonda with Creative Edge Flowers, her vision was executed perfectly by accenting the color palette with weathered wood pieces, to achieve a natural romantic, rustic feel.
The outdoor ceremony tied in elements of a wooden arch and chairs, brought to life with vibrant seasonal blooms in burgundy, pink, and coral with rich greenery flowing throughout. The power of collaboration is strongly represented in this shoot, reflecting how all details fit together creating a stunning and seamless look with all elements involved. From the perfectly matched bridal bouquet, to attire, signage, hair pieces and accessories, each element of this design was perfectly picked and executed amongst the talented team of vendors in the Event Core community.
The bold greenery and blooms were transitioned and repurposed into the beautiful reception room at The Pinebrook Golf Course. We were inspired by the large windows surrounding the room, providing lasting natural light, while accentuating the gorgeous wooding walls and ceiling beams. We felt these elements were essential to bring the garden rustic feel indoors. Our goal was to incorporate a more sophisticated aesthetic to the reception decor, being at a formal indoor venue. To achieve this, Chair Flair decorated the tables with lavish Marsala linens and gold cutlery, accented perfectly with tea favors and rustic menus. We provided continuity from the ceremony to the reception by re-staging the weathered wooden chairs and placing the wooden crates with natural floral designs as the guest table centerpieces. The head table was created by using all the floral swags and garland pieces we had designed for the ceremony arch. Each floral piece from the arch was carefully dismantled and re-staged as an elaborate display to frame the bride and groom at the head table.  In using disconnected floral pieces, the overall look of the head table brought us back to the natural unique look of the ceremony.
Our dessert table was a stunning addition to the reception room, created by our friends at Swirl cakes, who provided a gorgeous Ivory cake with gold and moss accents, along with The Sugar Cube tying the look together with beautiful jars of custom color coordinated candy.

We had such a great time creating this shoot while working with so many of our talented Event Core colleagues. Together we constantly strive to push each other to create stunning new designs, while providing exceptional value to our cliental. This shoot was a wonderful reflection of how well vendors can work together to create an amazing experience while ensuring all wedding elements are tied together perfectly to achieve success of the overall vision.”
