When Tawnia and I were first discussing what her and Shawn wanted to do for their engagement session she mentioned that Shawn was a firefighter at station 23 for the Calgary Fire Department. Immediately I knew that a Calgary Fire Station Engagement session was the perfect way to start their photos. Huge Huge Huge thank you to station 23 for letting us take over your hall for part of their session. Shawn might be teased for a bit but it was DEFINITELY worth every second of shooting there! Then if was off to Pierce Estate Park in Inglewood for the remainder of their shoot. These two got engaged under the stars on a beach in Thailand, and are planning a Mexican destination wedding in May 2016 so heading down to the water for the remainder of the session way the perfect way to end it! I can not say enough good things about Shawn & Tawnia. Their love is absolutely and utterly contagious! Congrats you two! It was such a pleasure meeting you and hearing all about your upcoming wedding day!

Pearce Estate Park is a beautiful park along the Bow River in Calgary Alberta. It is such a diverse area with so many amazing locations for photos, and it is just down the road from Shawn’s Fire Station.
