Calgary Inglewood Engagement Photo Session | Nathan & Shayla | Calgary Engagement Photos

Nathan & Shayla met back in middle school when they both attended HD Cartwright in Calgary. Shayla being a year older then Nathan wasn’t sure she wanted to get involved with a younger guy at first. Then slowly Nathan started to win her over. 15 years and one kiddo later on their anniversary Nathan surprise Shayla and proposed in the very same spot they first spoke to each other. Not only that but Nathan also proposed to their daughter and gave her a small ring as well. Seriously swoon worthy! When these two contacted me for their Calgary Inglewood engagement photo session, and they said they wanted to start at the school they met at I was so excited to see where it all began! There is nothing cuter then kissing at a your Jr. high picnic table, but this time with your fiancé and not just your crush. Then we headed to Inglewood in downtown Calgary for a more urban feel. These two were so much fun and up for anything! From dancing and spinning until Shayla felt sick to wandering the back alleys to find fun hidden locations these two rocked it! They also had the perfect weather for their session so they wanted to end their session at the top of Scottsman’s hill overlooking the whole Calgary downtown as the sun slowly set. What could be more romantic?!? Congrats Nathan & Shayla! It was so fun spending the evening with you and can not wait to hear more about your wedding plans!
