When extended families get together and want to get photos done I love it! I love seeing the interactions between the kids and grandparents, cousins playing and goofing off and siblings and spouses joking around and catching up. To me its more then just about the photos its also about the family time and memories that are created during the photos. Last weekend I got to meet the most fun family for their Calgary Memorial Park Extended Family Session. This session was a Christmas gift for the grandparents, and some of the families even had to come up from the states for the session. I think there were more laughs during this session then most as one of the kiddos was an absolute jokester and was making everyone laugh the entire time. I also love the location we picked for their photos. Central Memorial Park Downtown has one of the most stunning sandstone buildings with marble steps. It makes for the perfect backdrop for sessions, especially large extended family ones. Thank you to this awesome family for trusting me with your Calgary Memorial Park Extended Family Session memories! I had an absolute blast!
