Slade, Slade, Slade. I have gotten to know you over this past year and all I can say is you are such a happy little guy. I have had the honor of photographing you three ties this past year and each time you win over hearts with you smiles and giggles. You are officially now 1 year old and I just know you will grow to do great things.

I had the opportunity to help Slade celebrate his first birthday when I took his Calgary Modern Mountain Cake Smash Photos this week. I loved designing this set up and even had one of my past wedding clients to thank for the awesome wood mountains you see in the photos. These were her table numbers at her wedding and the moment I saw them I knew they would be perfect for his session, so thank you Kira! Slade was not shy with his cake at all. He started eating those yummy chocolate stars (which I can’t blame him) and then he moved on to full on destruction. The whole shoot was just too cute. Happy birthday Slade! It has been so fun watching you grow into the happy little guy you are!
