When we were first discussing Jordan & Kristin’s engagement session they had an idea that I ABSOLUTELY loved!! They wanted to go back and recreate some of their first dates. How cute is this?!? I always encourage doing something or going somewhere for your engagement photos that is important or sentimental to you. This was the perfect idea and I absolutely LOVED capturing these memories for them. First stop on their Calgary Monogram Coffee engagement session was to a cute little coffee shop in Altidore. This could be one of my all time favourite coffee shops so we headed there first. On one of their first dates they went there and Jordan tried to teach Kristin the game bridge. It was so fun to watch them sip coffee and play cards.

Next stop was wandering around one of the cutest neighbourhoods in Calgary. Garrison Woods has a San Fransisco feel with the beautiful coloured houses. It was the perfect second stop on their walk down memory lane.

The last stop was my favourite. we had timed their whole session so we would end at their favourite country field to watch the sun set and have a small picnic. I have lived in Calgary all my life and I have never seen a sunset quite as stunning as the one that night. With the mix of the smoke and the almost clear skies the sky definitely put on a show for them.

Jordan and Kristin are absolutely the cutest couple I have ever met. He is so caring towards her and always knows exactly what to say or do to make her laugh. Kristin has the kindest heart and a smile that lights up the room, especially when she is snuggled in close to Jordan. These two are truly better together!

Thank you Jordan and Kristin for letting me capture these moments for you to remember forever, and sharing some of your favourite memories and spots with me! I can not wait for your New Years Eve wedding day!!
