“Alayna” – An Irish name meaning Beautiful or dear child. One of my favourite things to do at newborn sessions is ask how the parents decided on the name of their brand new baby. I love hearing the thought process, and if the new babe is named after family or friends. Ben & Christy chose the perfect name for their sweet baby girl Alayna. I had the pleasure of meeting Alayna at her Calgary newborn photo session on May 31st which was her scheduled due date, but this sweet miss could not wait to join the world so she was already two weeks old! She was so precious and was the perfect little model; barely made a peep at all! What made this session even more special was Christy’s mom flew in all the way from Ethiopia intake fore the session so even grandma got a few snuggles during the session. 
Congrats Silcox family she is absolutely adorable and the sweetest addition to your family.

I love how both Ben and Christy just loved to look and admire at Alayna.
These two are so crazy in love with each other and it really shows in all their photos.
I love that Grandma got to be in these photos too!
