Back in 2017 I captured a wedding day and I had so much fun with the couple as well as the wedding party. Fast forwards 2 years and one of the groomsmen from that wedding had got engaged! Darnell & Lee-Ann are two of the kindest people so I knew their wedding day was going to be amazing. Their wedding was planned for 2020 but then Covid happened and flipped everyone’s world upside down. They choose to postpone to May 29th, 2021. Their Calgary Urban Intimate Wedding day was perfect! They opted to split their wedding over two years; their ceremony & formals this year and then their reception June 2022. I loved how they got married in the courtyard of their apartment building surrounded by their families. Their courtyard felt like something out of Europe and made for such a modern but intimate feel. We could not get enough of their ceremony. The it was off to Lindsay Park, The Central Library, and Scotsmans Hill for their wedding photos. Their entire day was so romantic, timeless and had the feeling of ease. Congrats Darnell & Lee-Ann it was an absolute honor to capture your wedding day. We can not wait for you reception next year!
