Whenever I photograph a newborn session I like to go to my clients house. This way they are in the comforts of their own home, don’t have to pack baby up (as usually that is a process all on its own) and then I also get to capture these first sweet memories in the nursery as well as incorporate your fur babies. I get told all the time that their homes don’t have any good “areas” for photos and this is always wrong. A simple wall with good natural light or a bedroom with a white duvet is all that I really need. This is exactly what Danielle told me when I got to their house to photograph 13 day old Ashton. Little did they know that they house was PERFECT for an in home newborn session! It was such a pleasure to meet and photograph this adorable family. Ashton was the sweetest little man ever. He slept the WHOLE time and didn’t fuss once. Thank you to Monica from Red Bloom Photography for recommending me to them and thank you to Danielle & Brian from trusting me to capture these first sweet moments. You guys are seriously adorable!

There is just something so beautiful about a dad holding his brand new baby.Ten tiny toes.Beautiful momma and baby boy AshtonEven Mila got in on some of the photos with her new brother.I love using trucks and other furniture during these sessions, and this trunk was Danielle’s Grandmothers.During Danielle’s pregnancy they listened to a lot of Fleetwood Mac so it was only fitting to incorporate that into their session as well.
