Calgary Engagement Photographer - Kananaskis Adventure Engagement Session

When we were first planning Jamie & Jordyn’s Kananaskis Adventure Engagement Photography Session session I asked what they wanted to do for it. They knew they wanted to go out to the mountains but that was it. They didn’t have a specific location in mind. I asked them if they were up for a bit of an adventure for their session and they said yes, so that’s what we did. I have wanted to shoot at a couple obscure locations but was waiting for a couple that was up for anything and these two were. Our first location was an unnamed just a pull off on the side of the road. We followed the path down the hill and it opened up to the most amazing clearing on the edge of a cliff overlooking the river and mountain valley! The sun was just setting so the golden light also flooded the frames and make for some pretty epic photos. The second location was a bit farther down the road and by the time we got the the sun had tucked behind the mountain making for a very pretty ( and cold) blue hour. Jamie is a Calgary Police Officer so we also wanted to incorporate his formal uniform into the the photos which I loved! All in all this session was amazing. We adventured, laughed and froze our butts off but it was all 100% worth it! I can not wait for these two to tie the knot this coming year! Congrats Jamie & Jordyn, and thanks for the epic session!
