I knew instantly that I wanted to shoot Kyle & Kasia’s wedding at their initial client consultation. We sat and drank coffee and chatted for hours about anything and everything! It was like we were friends forever. When I was first chatting to Kyle & Kasia about what they wanted do to for their engagement session and they mentioned they loved just hanging out together with their pooch shaggy and antiquing… I was thrilled! I suggested why don’t we do both! Being an animal lover and a huge fan of all things vintage I was over the moon excited for their session. We started their High River engagement photography session at George Lane Memorial Park. Over night it had snowed, and the trees were covered in horror frost, a photographers dream!!!

Then it was off to Nanton, AB where we shot in  Sentimental Journey Antique. Such a beautiful shop! If you ever are looking for anything antique check them out! They also have a store in Calgary called The Iron Crow, both are a vintage lovers dream!! Then the last location was at an old barn just outside of Nanton. By that time the wind had picked up and created this amazing movement to the photos. It also blows me away that we stated the morning playing in the snow and ended the session with no snow in sight and a 20 degree different in temperature! Got to love the weather in Alberta! Congrats Kyle and Kasia. I had a blast hanging out with you two and can not wait to be a part of your December wedding!!!
