Even though I am a Calgary Wedding photographer, back in September I had the honour of traveling to Vancouver, BC to second shoot with the very talented Laura from Paraphrase Productions (if you haven’t head of them check out her work its stunning!). This was such an amazing opportunity! In 2014 we were part of a Click a Day group (we took a photo a day for 365 days) and became friends, chatting almost daily throughout this process. It was amazing getting to help her capture Trevor & Zenith’s modern Bengali wedding day!
I loved everything about their big day! For their church ceremony all the girls wore beautiful gold sarees, and Zenith wore a stunning red and gold embellished one! Then after their ceremony Zenith changed into a short, flirty, knee length dress she actually design and sewed herself. It was super adorable topped of with the sweetest birdcage veil! Amazing!
For their photos they wanted to get photos done at the coffee shop they met at for their first date! How cute is that?!? I love when couples want incorporate part of their love story into their wedding day! Their large, black and gold retro movie themed wedding reception was so full of love, laughter and dancing. It was perfectly them! Both Trevor and Zenith love to dance, so they made sure there was lots of time for a HUGE dance party!

Her calla lily wedding bouquet was so simple and absolutely stunning!
They met and this adorable coffee shop on their first date and for their wedding photos they wanted to go back for a cup of coffee and some photos. Fun right?!?
Vancouver is simply stunning in September, and it was the perfect weather for their wedding day!
