I have been lucky enough to photograph Olivia’s family a bunch in the last couple years. First time I met them was when Sophia, Olivia’s older sister, visited the studio for her first birthday cake smash. Then again when mom Melanie was pregnant with Olivia for her maternity session, and now for Olivia’s pink & gold Calgary cake smash photography session. Melanie also made the cutest cake for Olivia to smash!! I just love the giant pink cupcake! Olivia was the happiest little one, and seriously enjoyed getting elbow deep into the cake. Between smashing with her hands, toes, and a full on face plant, she was having a blast! So much fun actually that older sister Sophia wanted to get in on the smashing. Those two girls were giggling, feeding each other and just having a ball! Happy birthday Olivia, it was so fun helping you celebrate your very first birthday!!

Seriously how cute is Olivia?!?She was so excited to dive right in and start munching away!I just love how happy she was.And how cute is her little cake smash outfit?!?Sophia had to jump in too and try out the cake.
By the end there was icing EVERYWHERE!!
