At the beginning of 2016 I made the resolution to start a click a week for 52 weeks. I did a project like this back in 2014 but on a much larger scale taking a click a day for 365 days. I wasn’t sure I quite had it in me to tackle that again this year so decided a project 52 would be more manageable. Being a Calgary lifestyle photographer I love documenting everyday life as I see it. One of the amazing things about doing a Project52 or A Click a Day for 365 days is you get an excuse to look for these moments a capture that beauty!

2016 started out in Invermere BC celebrating new years with some of my favourite people. It was a week full of skating, great food and amazing belly laughs. It was an amazing way to kick start the beginning of 2016!

Week 2 I had the amazing opportunity to head down to Cancun to second shoot a beautiful wedding with Redbloom Photography. I could not have asked for more amazing week or travel buddy! And I mean the location was ok too 😉

Week 3 I was thankfully still down in Mexico at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun (lucky me!), and both Monica & I got up at 4 in the morning to shoot an incredible rock the dress session with the bride and groom. The sunset was to die for so I couldn’t help but snap this photo of a fishing boat attached to the dock we were shooting on.

Week 4 I got some exciting mail; I received my very own copy of Blush Magazine! I am so excited about this beautiful local Alberta Wedding Magazine and I am thrilled to be a Blush Vendor! Be sure to grab a copy because it is such a great resource for brides looking for some incredible wedding vendors!
