Nevin & Jamie got married on a beautifully hot Saturday afternoon, on Jamie’s parents farm near Acme Alberta. It was such an incredible day filled for with insane amount of love, family and personal touches. Their guests sat in pews made from barn board, hay bails and burlap for the ceremony looking back over the family farm. They were also encouraged to take hand made fans and umbrellas to escape the heat. As the bridesmaids walked down the aisle in different styles of coral dresses and rose and baby’s breath bouquets you could feel Nevin’s anticipation to see his stunning bride! These two met on Tinder of all places and they had an instant connection. Soon after their first date Jamie was chatting with her mom and she told her she knew she would marry Nevin! After the ceremony it was off to a friends farm for photos amongst old out building and tree covered pathways. Breathtaking! Their reception was held at the Acme Community hall and again with their DIY shabby chic touches everywhere from the coral rose centre pieces to the candy sweet table. I have been to a lot of weddings and this wedding is the first I had ever seen duelling pianos instead of a band or DJ. It was seriously the icing on an already amazing cake. Every moment of their day was something out of a fairytale! Congrats Nevin & Jamie your love is infectious, and it was truly an honour to be a part of your day and capture your Calgary wedding photos!
