Winter Canmore Maternity Photography | Carson & Samantha | Canmore Maternity Photographer

Originally we had Carson & Samantha’s maternity session scheduled for a weekend date but as the date got closer and closer the weather got worse and worse. We made the call to postpone their shoot to the following Monday and I am very we glad we did. Not only was the weather bitterly cold, but there were white out conditions, and highway road closures due to ice and poor visibility. Definitely not the best conditions to be out in especially if you wanted to any of the mountain views. It was a stock of sheer luck that their back up date just happened to be the most stunning winter day out in Canmore. The mountains were on full display, there was a ton of fresh snow and the weather was only slightly below zero. It really was the perfect mountain day for their winter Canmore maternity photography session. Carson & Samantha are also two of the nicest people so their session really was perfect. These two actually met as children, when Samantha’s parents would take her family camping each summer at the same campground out in Peachland BC. Carson’s parents owned the campground, so year after year they would see each other for one week and spend the rest of the year msning each other. Those small moments each summer turned from friendship to love, to marriage to now they are expecting their first baby together. If that isn’t the cutest love story I am not sure what is! Congrats Carson & Sam, I can not wait to meet your sweet baby! You both will be such amazing parents!
