There are moments in life that feel almost magical, perfectly timed and full of love and excitement. Braden and Lauren’s Surprise Marriage Proposal at Big Horn Lookout was one of those moments and being there to capture it was an absolute joy.

Braden is one clever guy. He enlisted the help of Lauren’s sisters, who suggested a sister maternity session in the mountains as the perfect excuse to get Lauren out to Big Horn Lookout. Lauren, expecting her first little one with Braden, naturally thought the session was all about her baby announcement photos. She had no idea what Braden had planned.

As the sun began to dip below the mountains, painting the sky in breathtaking shades of gold and pink, Lauren and her sisters posed for photos, laughing and enjoying the crisp mountain air. Meanwhile, Braden prepared for the big moment.

When the time was right, he got down on one knee. Lauren’s reaction was priceless, moving from utter shock to tears of joy.
