Canmore Surprise Wedding Proposal Photography – Mountain Proposal Photographer

Oh my goodness, where do I even start with telling you about this amazing Canmore surprise wedding proposal!! Mikael & Nicole are from Montreal, and planned a trip to Canmore to celebrate their 10 year dating anniversary. Little did Nicole know that Mikael had other plans. Mikael contacted me a couple weeks before their trip explaining that he wanted to propose to his amazing girlfriend. Being a true gentleman, he wanted to make it as memorable as possible. Have I mentioned how much I love surprises and proposals? The combination of a surprise proposal and being the one to document it was a dream come true!! We chatted about all sorts of locations, but when he saw Barrier Lake he knew it was the perfect location.

For their Canmore surprise wedding proposal photography session we planned that they would hike to the top of a look out, where I just happened to be at as well. Then he would ask me to take of photo of the two of them on their camera. Little did Nicole know that the other tourist admiring the view (me) would be there to capture it! Those amazing emotional filled moments as Mikael asked her to be his forever made me teary eyed! So so special. After she realized who I was and that her new Fiancé had planned the surprise of a lifetime we shot a short engagement session!! SO MUCH FUN! I would shoot proposals all day everyday if I could!
