Andrew and Katie are transplants from Ontario who moved to Calgary 5 years ago.They moved for a change of scenery and what could be more of a change then moving close to the mountains. For their engagement session they of course wanted some Rocky Mountain views, and a little bit of adventure. We chose a Winter Troll Falls Engagement Photography hike in Kananaskis which was actually the first hike that they did when they moved out to Calgary. So it only seemed fitting to head back there for their shoot. This hike is stunning in the summer but might be a new favourite in the winter. There is something so magical about a completely frozen waterfall. Make me believe for just a second I could be Elsa from frozen haha. They also brought their very cute fur baby Roo to the session and he was such a goof ball. These three definitely kept me laughing the whole session. We may have also gotten lost on the way back to our cars and it didn’t even really matter since I was having so much fun with these two. Congrats Andrew and Katie! It was such a blast spending the afternoon with you guys! Thanks for braving the snow, frozen waterfalls, and getting lost!

Look how cute Mr. Roo is!These two were so playful, adventurous, and just plain awesome together!Check out that frozen Elsa ice cave we found!When we were suppose to go right we went left and the trees cleared a bit and it opened up to this amazing field full of mountain views. It was the best wrong turn ever!
We finished their session just before the sunset completely and the sky and mountain views could not have been more amazing!
