On Thursday I got to tick another thing off my photographer bucket list! I got to photograph and witness Cameron & Jessica’s Banff Elopement! This was such treat and I was so excited to be a part of their intimate wedding day!

At 12 noon on March 31st 2016 I met Cameron, Jessica, the officiant and his wife at the reservoir behind Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Surrounded by the mighty mountains peeks, C+J said “I do” after twelve years together and two beautiful children. Then it was off to Lake Minnewanka &  Two Jack Lake for their wedding photos. It started out being overcast, but by the time we got out to the lake the sun started peaking thru and warmed us all up.  Every part of their day was perfectly them, and I could not be more honoured to be a part of it! Congrats Cameron & Jessica, I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Lake Minnewanka was still frozen over, but I was in love with all the cracked ice that had been pushed up onto the shoreline! The inside of both their wedding bands was inscribed “finally” which I am kinda in love with! After 12 years together they figured it was a fitting phrase!
